As a process transformation company, 3R WASTE FOUNDATION is Not-for-Profit Organization.We are Working in India & Asia in the fields of Water & Waste Management.Registered under Section 8 of Companies Act, 2013.We are also registered at the Niti Aayog NGO-Darpan Platform, which provides space for the interface between NGOs & key Government Ministries

In India, we work for National, State, and Local Governments in collaboration with the other stakeholders.We promote Integrated Sustainable Waste Management (ISWM) & Faecal Sludge Management (FSM).

VISION

3RWF’s vision is to achieve Clean water, Clean land and Clean air through 3R approach (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) and enhanced Resource Efficiency. 3RWF is committed to the sustainable development goals and creating a garbage free and an open defecation free habitat.

The 3RWF aims to achieve fundamental improvements in the approach to solid waste management in low-and middle-income countries, focusing in particular in improved livelihoods and living conditions of the urban poor.

MISSION

“Mission Zero Waste”

3RWF’s mission is to promote multi-pronged strategies for managing municipal solid waste with a focus on source segregation, door to door collection, transportation of segregated waste encouraging decentralized options of processing, recycling of dry waste, simultaneously creating an ecosystem of stakeholders, rag-pickers, technology providers, waste entrepreneur, civil society organizations and citizen groups for a holistic approach to SWM.

3RWF mission is also to combine the collection, transport and valorization of solid waste and faecal sludge under one umbrella service arrangement.

OBJECTIVES

The 3RWF seeks to raise the profile of SWM and FSM with decision-makers at city, national and international levels to serve as a center of expertise and knowledge on integrated and sustainable SWM and FSM in low- and middle-income countries to build regional capacity for improved and sustainable SWM to develop and disseminate new knowledge products on SWM.

Specific aims are:

  • To develop shelf of wide range technologies & techniques for dealing with Solid & Liquid Waste generated in urban areas.
  • To engage with public/private institutions, academia, NGOs/CBOs working in the field to achieve the objectives.
  • To promote behavioral change amongst the general public towards better management of waste.
  • To develop strategies for marketing of various resources recovered from the waste.
  • To improve livelihoods and living conditions for the urban poor.

  • To establish demonstration projects in the field to prove new technologies and processes for the intended beneficiaries
